Food, along with clothing and shelter, form the requisites of our life. However, despite the importance of the food, most people underestimate the food and its relationship with the human health. As human society developed and the economic condition of each individual person improved, people concern more about their eating habits compare to the people who lived in the past. Many companies, in order to follow the recent trend of the consumers who are looking for healthy food, offer various kinds of healthy foods. However, nothing could surpass green tea’s reputation as a healthy food. Green tea really became a popular drink all over the countries. Green Tea became part of everyday life all over the countries including America. The word “green tea” can be easily found on the grocery markets’ shelves or on the restaurants’ menus. Moreover, there are many green tea related products which use green tea as their ingredients such as green tea frapuccino, green tea cake, and green tea chocolate. The market of green tea and green tea related products have grown rapidly due to people’s firm belief about the benefits of green tea. However, many people who consume green tea do not know what exactly green tea does for their health. Most people only have limited knowledge of green tea. Most of this information is about fat burning function which helps to lose one’s weight. Are there any other benefits which people can get from drinking green tea other than weight loss?
