We have always lived in a world where crime co-existed with honesty and ethics. A life of crime has been portrayed through literature and film, as well as throughout history as not always being a cause of victimization but also one of opportunity. One only needs to look at the height of piracy to appreciate, that criminal acts are not always deemed immoral by governments. In this new millennium, however, we can not help but notice the great levels crime has reached, as well as the varying avenues that it takes. Technology has given criminals not only more sophisticated tools, but more opportunity to steal and commit criminal offences.
