# General Feature

1. radiation of pain arising from thoracic viscera (관련통, 연관통, 방사통)
(Why? Myocardial pain activate visceral afferents terminating in the upper 4 thoracic segments of the spinal cord. This nociceptive information converges on the same neurons that receive cutaneous input from the T1 to T4 dermatomes, and the reported pain is frequently reffered to this region of otherwise normal skin or underlying tissue)

2. The Left-arm myth:
이론적으로는 왼쪽 팔에서 느껴지는 방사통은 다른 어떤 종류의 heart disorder에서도 생길 수 있으나, ischemic heart disease시에 뚜렷하게 나타난다고 알려져 있다.
( This is a myth that has neither theoretic nor clinical foundation)

1.Anginal discomfort
: as a heavy pressure or sqeezing, a sensation of strangling or constriction in the chest, a burning or heavy feeling or difficulty in breathing.
