Introduction – Purpose of the plan
This paper is a proposal for a waste management plan for the Miami Green Triathlon. The presented waste management plan defines and explains the objectives. It contains how to minimize and recycle this landfill waste and how to manage our health and safety in these circumstances. There is content about how important our role is in this situation and how we should deal with it and what essential conditions must be met to create a better situation.
Analysis and Evaluation – Measurement overview
The triathlon consists of a single race consisting of three separate events: swimming, cycling and running. After the triathlon, a lot of garbage is generated, and as the popularity of the event has increased, the amount of garbage generated at each event has also increased. In addition to disposable cups, plastic and paper promotional materials, plastic bottles and food packages, and one-time racing t-shirts, fossil fuels used in boats, staging cars, motorcycles and buses to transport athletes are also wastes.
