[1] Results&Analysis - 이산화탄소의 분자량 측정 결과처리
위의 값들로부터, 건조공기의 몰질량은 (0.78*28.134+0.21*32.0+0.01*39.948)g/mol, 약 28.97g/mol임을 알 수 있다. 실제 공기에는 일정량의 수분이 있으나, 실험실 공기를 건조 공기로 간주하여 근사적으로 계산하기로 하였다. 한편, 실험실 공기를 이상기체로 근사할 때, 이상기체 상태방정식을 적용하여플라스크에 들어있는 기체의 몰수를 구해볼 수 있다. 이상기체의 상태방정식: PV=nRT(P=대기압, V=플라스크 부피, n=기체의 몰수, R=기체상수, T=Kelvin Temperature)
아보가드로 법칙에 따라, 플라스크에 들어가는 이산화탄소의 분자 수와 공기의 분자 수는 동일하다. 이를 이용하여 1차 시행과 2차 시행에 대해 각각 기체의 몰수 및 공기의 무게, 이산화탄소의 무게 및 분자량을 계산하였다. 다음의 <표 2>에서처럼, 1차 시행에서 이산화탄소 분자량은 약 45.0g/mol, 두 번째 시행에서는 약 45.3g/mol, 평균은 약 45.2g/mol 로 도출되었다. (주어진 데이터 중 온도가 유효숫자 세 자리였으므로, 결과에서도 유효숫자 세 자리만 고려함.)

2-1) 이상기체 상태방정식과 반데르발스 방정식의 비교
이상 기체는 다음의 두 가지 조건을 갖는다:
(1) 기체 분자는 부피를 갖지 않으며, (2) 기체 분자 사이에는 상호작용이 존재하지 않는다.
우리는 우선, 이산화탄소가 이상기체 상태방정식을 만족한다고 가정하고 이산화탄소 부피 및 무게 데이터들을 이상기체 상태방정식에 적용하여 다음과 같이 분자량을 구할 수 있었다. (50ml 플라스크로 한 실험을 첨자 1으로, 100ml 플라스크로 한 실험데이터를 첨자 2로 표기 하여 구분함)
