1.1 Purpose
The objective of this experiment is to analyze electronic systems using basic equipments : the digital multimeter, the function generator, and the oscilloscope. The first experiment is measuring resistance of three different resistors and three different combination of resistors. Then compare experimental resistance with theoretical resistance. The second, using the function generator, make various waveforms and compared their shapes using oscilloscope. Last, using the breadboard, measure the natural frequency of the RLC series circuit and compare this with theoretical value. We would become feel more comfortable using the digital multimeter, function generator, and the oscilloscope.
1.2 Experiment Equipment
(1) NI myDAQ
NI myDAQ is a low-cost portable data acquisition(DAQ) device that uses NI LabVIEW-based software instruments.
The NI myDAQ Acquisition Device combines a set of plug-and-play computer-based lab instruments with portability for hands-on student learning. We use this for all three experiments.
