Last year, there was a historical Go match in Korea between the Korean champion Lee Sedol and Google's AlphaGo. AlphaGo is a computer program playing Go based on Artificial Intelligence[AI]: a branch of computer science dealing with the simulation of intelligent behavior in computers (Merriam-Webster, 2018). The result was a 4 to 1 victory for Alpha Go, and many people were very surprised at the result, not because they believed that Go was the most difficult game for a computer program to win, but because they realized that AI was a reality.
