One of the biggest strengths for Under Armour has to be its products. There are very few producers in the performance gear market that can match the superior performance seen in Under Armour’s products. Under Armour was the original developer and manufacturer of performance gear and based on the time and research they continue to apply, they have a great understanding of its abilities and capabilities. They have even gone so far as to get scientific proof that their product is better.
Another strength Under Armour has is the increased product awareness through their sponsorships. With these sponsorships they are getting professional and college athletes to wear their equipment, which is being seen by millions of people on television. This is a great marketing technique, and will help to drive sales, as people want to wear the same equipment as their favorite athletes.
