1. Timer
① Refer to the datasheet of LM555 and design a circuit that satisfies the circuit specifications listed in 6.1 using PSPICE program. Use 555D component.
There is not LM555, but 555D element in PSPICE program. Thus 555D was used in this schematics alternatively. The source voltage(Vcc) 5V can be obtained from output of regulator. Since 555D is operated as pulse width modulation, it should be considered the peak voltage of sinusoidal wave, not any changes about R and C values.
The result of simulation is Vp=3.85V, freq=3.577kHz.
② Refer to the datasheet of LM555 and research various functions of the device other than pulse width modulation and pulse position modulation.
1) Monostable operation.
When TRIG voltage goes lower than the trigger threshold, monostable operation is initiated.
