□ PARIS BAGUETTE’S RETAIL BACKGROUND1.1 BUSINESS OBJECTIVES
Paris Baguette claims its vision as ‘the world-class company’ and ‘the world-best partnership’. Paris Baguette always tries to hold the best partnership with their franchise stores, customers, and its employees. By this, PB wants to jump up to be a leading company in the world. To achieve this vision, PB passionately and creatively helps its franchise stores to increase their sales, gives the best value to customers, and provides the top compensation and opportunity to self-development to its employees. PB pursue values like partnership, customer respect, creativity, challenge, passion, honest, and responsibility.
1.2 BUSINESS DEVELOPEMENT
Paris Baguette is owned by Paris Croissant Corporation which is subsidiary of SPC group. It opened its first store in Gwanghwamun in 1988, and it became to be the leading company in the bakery industry which owns over 2290 stores today. In 2004 PB starts to enter the global market by opening its first store in China and opening in America in 2005. Now it expanded globally and has 44 overseas stores worldwide and even became one of the 10 major brands in China. With 706 million dollars of sales and 30 percent annual average growth of sales since 1990, PB has grown to be the largest domestic franchise company in the bakery industry.
