The Korean table setting - Sangcharim Korean food is special, delicious, beautiful, and healthy. Korea has own table setting, table manner, and many traditional foods. There is a Korean particular table setting. If you want to enjoy Korean food, you had better know about this. Basically, Korean table consists of steamed rice, soup, and side dishes and all of these are set all together. Each food is called Bab, Gook, and Banchan. And Korean has a meal with spoon and chopsticks. Bab and Gook are given for each person, and people share Banchan. Many Korean foods belong to Banchan, but there are many special foods like `a la carte`, for example, Bibimbap.
Korean table manner is from `Elders first.`. Younger people always eat only after the oldest person had start eating. During the meal, speak quietly, and don`t grab a spoon and chopstick together with one hand. And don`t finish your meal before the oldest person finishes.
