Mexico from the nahuatl mētztli ("moon") and xictli ("navel), from the ancient Teotihuacan at the center of the lake. It’s a land south of the border in North America populated by approximately 107,800,000 people. It’s a land that can be best described by the word contrast; from the arid North deserts, to the thick green jungles of the South; from the richest man in the world to the corima in the streets; form the fast paced progress in the economy, to the recessive violence of drug cartels; from modern to traditional; from religious to pagan and atheist. That is Mexico. The land where I was born, but like many others left, for the promise of the American dream my own country could not fulfill. The reason?
