2.1.1 Calculation for Head Loss
1) Head Loss at Intake Tower
① Horizontal Flow Area
A = ( 2.85 x 4.0 + 3.2 x 2.0 ) x 1.8 = m2
Vh = Q/A = 0.35 m/sec : Horizontal Velocity
② Vertical Flow Area
A = ( 6.3 x 3.0 ) = m2
Vv = Q/A = 0.59 m/sec : Vertical Velocity
