Method
The book consists of 12 modules and each module is divided into part A for language and part B for task. Part A includes speaking, grammar, reading, vocabulary and listening. In part B, there are good exercises for writing and speaking. Usually they are authentic. In addition, there is “ Do you remember?” as a review part for students to remember important points. They are usually small quizzes.
It has lots of practices. It would be helpful for students and teachers who want lots of homework and common information.
Appearance
The cover is composed of black and orange colour, and has snow-covered mountain picture in the middle of front page. It is simple and neat. It looks too cold, which would be strange and unfamiliar in countries that have only field or summer season. It does not look interesting. It seems like a calendar. On the other hand, it has a good mean that students study this textbook and use English successfully like reaching the top of mountain.
Inside the book, it is quit complicated because there are too much small text in order to contain lots of things. In my mind it needs clear headlines. However, it has lots of up to dated pictures, which make students get interest.
