HIV

PURPOSE FOR EVALUATION
Holden Caulfield is a 16-year-old male prep school student who had been kicked out from 4 schools because of his grades. It was right after he got kicked out from 4th school when he first came to this hospital, and he had a very serious nervous breakdown in that time. His breakdown was not due to his school life, however, but due to quite duplicated mental problem he got since he was 13-year-old. And there were few events that had led him to such that mental conditions. The biggest event that affected him among them all, and which could be considered as the start of his actual mental problem, is his two years younger brother, Allie’s death. Allie’s death had affected Holden’s life and mental condition greatly from the day Allie had died, and it just grabbed Holden’s mental in the world of thirteen. And all the problems he got were basically due to that point. And if Allie’s death was the general and background cause of Holden’s breakdown, there is another cause of Holden’s breakdown which affected him very directly. That is, his experiences while being alone in New York city. While he stayed in New York city alone for 3 days, he realized something that he could never figure out for years. And he got depressed by what he realized and its impact had directly led him to his nervous breakdown. There are few more causes in a bit more detail, but these two are just the major events that had affected Holden’s mental condition. Then how did they, and what really did affect Holden’s mental condition?
